Skincare Tips from Dermatologists

Always remember your SPF.

Sunscreen plays the important role of protecting our skin from diseases caused by harmful UV rays, but that’s not all. Consistently applying sunscreen can also slow the effects of skin aging and promote an even skin tone.

Avoid touching your face.

Throughout the day, our hands come into contact with dirt, germs, and oils that we don’t even know about. To prevent transferring these skin irritants over, it’s best to avoid touching your face as much as possible.

Although it’s not ideal, it’s also best to refrain from messing with pesky pimples. Instead of picking or popping these, let them run their course. This will prevent scarring.

Practice patience when applying.

When applying your skincare products, specifically in layers, allow two to three minutes in between application for full absorption. This minimizes the risk of your products becoming counteracted or diluted by one another.
